
Jennifer Jones (Buchholz) MS, LPC
Jennifer Jones, is a licensed psychotherapist who has worked in the mental health and related fields for over 12 years. Jennifer is a certified EMDR therapist and is 1 of only 3 EMDR consultants in Southeast Wisconsin and the only one who specializes in children. She promotes a high level of practice and patient care through various consulting opportunities to other professionals.She is a member of EMDRIA and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Jennifer specializes in treating children ages three and up, understanding developmental needs of children and providing innovative Techniques/Skills Training for PARENTS. Other specialties are child sexual abuse, attachment disorders, ADHD and PTSD. Additionally, Jennifer treats adult issues from personal empowerment to trauma survivors; Depression, Anxiety, relationship conflicts, stress and pain management, divorce and adjustment issues. Jennifer strives to achieve the optimum care towards patient wellness.
Peggy Nies Scargall, MSW, CAPSW, CADC, RT
Peggy is a certified Advanced Practice Social Worker and AODA counselor with over sixteen years of experience in the mental health field. Peggy is trained in EMDR therapy.Peggy specializations include those suffering from trauma, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, gambling issues, grief and loss and cognitive decline.Peggy works with a variety of age groups from adolescents to older adults. She has been featured through multiple types of media for her expertise with eating disorders. Peggy has facilitated workshops in Experiential Therapy as a treatment modality. She has developed and directed programs in hospital, residential and outpatient settings for multiple agencies and organizations. This includes her administrative and clinical work at a nationally renowned eating disorder center.
Joelle Ottoson, MSW, LCSW, CSAC
Joelle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor.She has seventeen years of experience in the field. She has also received training in smoking cessation and is trained in EMDR therapy. She is also a member of NASW. Joelle has been involved in research on relapse of substance abuse and smoking along with research on AODA treatment for pregnant women. Her experience includes working with children, adolescents and adults. Joelle enjoys helping couples and families strengthen their relationships using innovative techniques that have long term effects. She works extensively with teens and adults with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health issues such as: depression, anxiety, phobias, adjustment disorders and attention/hyper activity disorder. Joelle enjoys helping people find their inner strength to maximize their abilities, whether it be strengthening their parenting skills or clarifying their career goals or lessening the re-occurrence of substance abuse or depression. Joelle is in the process of becoming a certified yoga instructor.
Pamela Schmidt-Peckham, MSW,CAPSW, CADC
Pamela is a certified advanced practice Social Worker with over ten years of experience. She is also a certified AODA counselor, and trained in EMDR therapy and she is a member of NASW. Pam has been working in the mental heath field for ten years and provides individual and group therapy. She specializes in treating people with eating disorders and has extensive training at one of the nation renowned eating disorder centers. She has extensive experience with trauma survivors and dual diagnosis clients.Pam has provided community in-services for schools, hospitals and television news. Pam believes helping her clients access their own emotional and spiritual beliefs will help them to maximize personal growth.
Maureen Pohle MA, LPC
Maureen is licensed Professional Counselor with 3 years professional experience. Maureen has worked with high risk/traumatized adolescents and their families as well as separated and divorced individuals. Maureen is a member of NBCC and AACC. Maureen is trained in EMDR. Maureen welcomes the incorporation of a spiritual dimension to her session bringing together the whole person; mind, body and spirit. Maureen also brings life experience to her practice including prior high school teaching and training in school guidance counseling K-12.
Deanna Mueller, MSW, APSW
Deanna is a Certified Advanced Practiced Social Worker. She has over 10 years of experience and training in working with individuals, couples, families and adolescents. She is a member of NASW and has is trained in EMDR. Deanna developed a support group for adolescent girls to help develop healthy self esteem and positive self image. She has worked extensively with teenage and adult clients with eating disorders, OCD and anxiety disorders, mood disorders, family and couples counseling, parenting and behavioral management skills building. She has worked with individuals experiencing grief, loss and terminal illness. Deanna has provided community in-services on grief, loss and teenage issues. Deanna elieves that it is important to empower her clients, helping them to identify their individual strengths and walk along with them on their journey of change and recovery.
